Confession time, Jubilee has been one of my favorite characters since I started reading X-Men in the early 90s. Mojo is one of my favorite Marvel villains as for me he is the Joker if he were an executive producer. So this episode was right up my alley. Also, if you follow this blog and my YouTube and Twitch channels gaming is a hobby of mine. Please let this episode lead into an X-Men side scrolling beat'em up. The episode deals withJubilee's birthday and her and Bobby getting stuck in a Motendo gaming system (I love how Mojo avoids copyright). This part of the episode worked for me as we got to see more of Jubilee and her powers being on display. A lot of people tend to overlook Jubilee's powerset but she is not someone to be taken lightly and I liked that they showed that here. My only complaint at this point is I'm kinda getting tired of Bobby at this point. Hopefully, his character starts to come around but right now he just comes off as whiny and spoiled brat that doesn't understand his situation.
The second part of this episode starts the adaptation of the Life/Death story with Storm and Forge. This should have been its own episode as they kinda rushed a few things. At least to me it felt like they were going really fast. I know a little about the Life/Death story so I am interested in seeing where this will go. Have you seen this week's episode?
