Let's Talk - Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Thoughts

 Releasing 07-29-2022 on Nintendo Switch

So last week Nintendo and Monolith Soft dropped a new Xenoblade Chronicles 3 trailer. There are some significant reveals in the trailer the one that caught everyone's eye was the release date being moved up two whole months. Myself and the rest of the Wingin IT Podcast, while looking forward to were surprised by this in all honesty. Usually, when a game's release date gets moved up it's only by a couple of days, not months. That was something to get excited about but the trailer also showed some new game mechanics. The one that stood out was the Interlink system, which combines two characters into a different form for crazy damage output. Also, the trailer showed that characters can swap weapons. I'm interested in learning more about that particular mechanic. It really seems to me that Monolith Soft took the changes that they made to the combat in Torna The Golden Country and upgraded it to the max. I have stated before on the podcast that I think Torna's combat is better than Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and this looks like it's going to be even better. There is also a special edition, however, it will only be available through the Nintendo store and will be linked to your account. I am happy about this as this should take care of the scalper issue that has been plaguing the gaming space for quite some time now. Take a look at the trailer and let me know what you think.
