Quick Take
This episode directly deals with the aftermath of episode 5 and the fallout of what happened on Genosha. There were a lot of surprises in this episode especially on the villain side of things but first things first. This episode really centered around grief. Rogue for the most part went rogue in her quest for revenge. To be honest I loved how this episode felt realistic. Some people when pushed to far or feeling the loss of a loved one are not going to respond with singing we are the world. Rogue wanted people to pay and that's what she was delivering. Small spoiler but this episode introduced Operation Zero Tolerance, one of my favorite X stories from the 90s and Bastion. It will be interesting to see how this season wraps up as Cable returns and warns of an even bigger threat that is coming which I can only assume is Apocalypse. That is a lot of story beads but this show has done a great job of handling these threads while keeping everything balanced. I don't know how I feel about the voice for Bastion yet hopefully we get to see more of him next week. I do like his introduction, the final three episodes are going to be on fire.
